Indoor and outdoor spaces

Spaces were designed so clubs, schools and families can share one site without shutting each other out.

The Studio

A flexible fitness room for up to 16 people, also used for parties or meetings, alone or as part of the social suite. Table tennis often runs here.

Pauline Hurd Room

Named for community advocate Pauline Hurd, who died in 2012 before the Hub was finished. Functions, training, coaching courses and parties. A balcony looks over the outdoor sports, with a kitchen and occasional bar.

Board Room

Holds 30 people theatre-style for meetings, or joins the social suite for larger gatherings.

Boxing gym

A dedicated gym used daily by Aston ABC. Because of the specialist kit, requests go through the club.

Changing rooms

Six team changing rooms with showers and toilets, three officials’ rooms, and 150 coin-return lockers in the corridor.

Pitches, courts and gym

Four floodlit tennis courts, two adult and two youth football pitches, mini soccer and training areas, a 2012 cricket table with five pitches, and the new outdoor multi-purpose gym. A community garden is planned. Car parking is on site, with step-free access and a lift.
